| The very foundation of our Nations "Declaration Of Independence" speaks of our natural rights to have a personal choice in these matters. It is those freedoms that our men and women in uniform are fighting and dying for every day. It is time for us to finally tear down the walls of political, religious and ethnic division and embrace the ideas that created this amazing country. If you love your country and the ideas of the great men that put those ideas down in the form of our Constitution, then show it to your neighbor by letting him know that you respect his beliefs and that it is ok and agreeable to disagree. Then invite him over for a good old American style barbecue or help him fix his car, reach out to each other. Then you can call yourself a true American. |

| Our world is changing rapidly and the airwaves are full of scary messages of doom. Sometimes you think these negative messages will spoken into existence. Sometimes they may be, but that scenario works both ways. Positive messages and ideas can be spoken into existence as well. They most important weapon we have to make positive changes is our attitude. We must not let all the pundits tell us how we should feel, we choose how we feel about one issue or another. If we decide collectively as a nation that we are going to make positive changes, we will. If we all decide to hide from our neighbors, withdraw and dwell on the negative aspects our world, that is what our world will become. We are in control, if we choose to take responsibility and become proactive. Find someone, some organization that you think is a positive entity and volunteer, do something for your community, your church, your neighbor and get involved. We can not keep leaving it up to the other guy to do the volunteer thing. If we want a better nation, one with the values we want our children to grow up in, then we, as a United Nation must set an example, from the ground up. We can once again become the great nation our founding fathers envisioned and other nations respected and admired. Together, as one United America we can do anything! |
